Over the years, I've probably made more compaints to companies and rants about them than I have compliments, so I'm going to put the balance back. At least a little.

"The World". A small newsagent in Terenure. They mak proper sandwiches. Heaped. Three slices of ham in one bap I had last Friday, and this is just an example. Also, as they don't charge by the salad. As much as you (reasonsbly) want. Job well done.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

:) That reminds me of the time a co-worker of mine asked a spanish girl working in the local deli if she had brown baps. Then he realised what he said and walked off turning a lovely shade of red. :)

OP. Apologies for going off topic. If I can enter the butchers in the Mill Shopping Centre in Clondalkin as my value lunch spot. The biggest, mightiest rolls you will ever lay eyes on, and from only 2.50 each. A bargain and a half if you need to eat like a hungry cave man.

ROFL :D I have a red tint to my hair and some guy said to me one day "do you read books much?" I said yeah and he said "Have you read pubes"

I probably shouldn't have laughed but I did  :D

Haha the thread title does truly warrant a hearty "WTF?"

    That deli sounds cool.
I too am curious as to whether the spanish chick had brown baps. Finish the story!
That pubes joke is clever and funny.

I enetered this thread expecting baps and pubes....needless to mention I'm half disappointed.

Shouldn't boards be issuing bans for misleading thread titles?

In all fairness, the thread was accurately titled at the start. And I changed the title to tyr and keep up, but since then, I think it's set a new record for the most hijackings in the fewest number of posts.

Dunno whether I'm chuffed or angered... at least someone was nice enough to apologise!

    What age are you? 11?

    Random credit where it's due:
Casa Pasta in Howth, AIB Sutton, New Deli @ Sutton Cross, Krugers Bar Food in Howth, Marx Computers in Killester, Viking Direct, Ann's 99's (Ice Creams) in Howth, Magnet ADSL2 upload speeds, SKY+, O2 Customer service & overall network is good IMO....

You have to be young to appreciate the delicate craftmanship that is a mothers sandwich preperation for her child now?

No - you can still appreciate it (looking back), but he sounds like his mommy still makes him sambos for school or something! That's why I asked how old he was; because it's usually kids that gets a packed lunch from 'mammy'!
