    Hi,

I've only used ebay for buying a few things, have a total of just 7 transactions, all perfect. I have some video game and camera stuff sitting at home taking up space and that I don't really use them any more so I was thinking of selling them on ebay. My problem is that I have never sold on ebay before so from a purchasers point of view I would ignore someone like me!

What would be the best way to approach this? Would I be better going to an ebay shop (there is one close to where I live) and having them sell the stuff for me. I'm thinking that maybe I would get a higher bid that would more than cover their commission. Also, all my game boxes are at my parents which I wouldn't be able to pick up until xmas. Do you think these would add value to the auction?

    Thanks!

Personally I look for 100% feedback from people I buy from. The low number of transactions wouldn't neccessarily put me off. We all have to start somewhere!.

I reckon that the boxes for the games will make them more desirable alright. Best thing to do is do a search on ebay for exactly what you have to sell and see what level of competition/interest is there for the items. I've never used a 3rd party company myself as I don't want to be paying more than I already do in commission fees.
