Saturday Night's alright for Poker ... or is it?

    I haven't played a lot of poker in the past few months due to work commitments, but have managed to get a few $5 Sit n Go's in on Full Tilt at the weekend.

    My BR was a healthy $195 two weeks ago and in the last 2 weekends was pulled back to a less than satisfactory $80 approx. Anyway, I've noticed some of the craziest calls in the past 2 weeks (calling full pot bets on the river hoping to catch a low straight or flush when it's obvious that the better has a made hand). One guy called the flop, turn and river to a preflop re-raiser on a QJTAA board with 87s. (Never raised, just called) Anyway, I've been beaten by some of these a-holes catching a set or a flush on the river and was wondering if anyone had noticed if the standard of play online drops massively at the weekend.
    Or, God forbid, is it me?

    I always avoid Saturday evening 9PM-1AM. Lost the few times I played, and reckon its full of single-bloke loner nerds who are competent at the game.
    On the other hand Sunday evenings are an absolute goldmine, best day of the week in my opinion.
