FM104 - Dec and Joan

    Haven't been listening to the radio much lately for various reason - now I'm back in traffic in the evenings I noticed Dec and Joan weren't on - I put it down to holidays but Mark Noble has been on for a long time - checked the website and he's now the presenter of The Jam.

    Anyone know where/why Dec and Joan went?

    D:confused:

    From what I hear through the grapevine Declan has resigned from 104 and decided to do some work in South Africa. Something to do with building houses. As for Joan I think the bosses decided that she should take a year out aswell. Mark is now the man at the helm for Drivetime. A well deserved posting if you ask me.

    Thanks for that - yes Mark is doing a fine job, I just miss Dec and Joan - I enjoyed their banter. I've been listening to Joan since she was on the morning show with Colm Hayes.

    Yeah interesting how Joan ended up doing afternoons. Always thought herself and hayes sounded very well as a unit.
    Can't beat Brian Mc Coll on 98 for the drive home. Dec and Joan really never cracked that partnership if you ask me.
