Colour coding bumpers

    Hi lads,

I was thinking of painting the bumpers on my old '92 golf. Just want to take the "bad look off it" if ya know what I mean. The bumpers are quite faded, especially the front.

I was wondering if its as easy as:

    Get bumpers clean.
Mask off lights and body panels.
    Prime with plastic primer.
Spray with paint from motor factors.

If anyone has done this I would like to hear how it turned out.

I've seen a few done, and they look pretty good.

    Any advice appreciated.

I'd say it'd be easier just to take off the bumpers.

I masked my car today to put "black in a flash" on the black trim and still got bits on the paint
