Two horses that I've been waiting to run again are back out this week. The first of which is Delaware in a very competitve handicap in uttoxeter tomorrow. I was waiting to back this horse for a while and when he ran a couple of weeks ago I was delighted to see him backed from 16s into 10-1. Was cantering when falling at the 2nd last. He would have definitely placed and there's a strong chance he would have won. He was running with 11-5 on his back that day (in a conditional jockey's race) off a mark of 95.
He reopposes off the same mark today but in a better race.(0-115 as opposed to 0-95). However, the upshot of that is he carries 10 stone 1 and I think he must have a super chance as he is clearly in good heart at the minute.

It'll go into the betting diary but not until tomorrow morning as I think there's a chance that they'll back it again tomorrow

    Delaware - Uttoxeter - 4:35

Had a look at the Curragh. Here are the stand out horses for me:

2:10 - Laing O'Rourke Blenheim Stakes (Listed Race)

O’ Briens Brave Tin Soldier is favourite for this with Fallon on board, but I think people are overlooking C&D winner Invincible Force. Brave Tin Soldier has never won a race, and both the course and the distance are new to him. Meanwhile, Invincible Force is proven on over this distance. Trainer Deborah S. Evans has only ever ran one horse at the Curragh (this one) and it duly won last time here. His form is excellent, and it can handle varied ground. Eddie Ahern is on board, who has won a couple of times on him before, and seems to give him a good ride. I’m going to wait until tomorrow before placing my bet, but I’d be expecting about 4 or 5 to one for him.

    3:10 - Laing O'Rourke National Stakes (Group 1) (Entire Colts & Fillies)

It may be a bit cheeky of me to expect to have yet another odds on favourite that I oppose beaten again, but I reckon C&D winner Tefolio can do just that to Holy Roman Emperor. It should be a very good battle between the two nonetheless. Again, the O’Brien/Fallon combo can’t be brushed aside, but I think the step up to 7f may be a bit of a gamble for Holy Roman Emperor, and it‘s very short odds on price is not worth it for me. Meanwhile, Bolger’s colt Tefolio is proven on this distance. Manning is on board, and he partnered him on his last 3 outings (all wins) Tefolio’s form is excellent, and he is well capable of taking this. At the moment, He is around 2.86 on betfair, but I’m waiting until tomorrow until I place my bet, as I have a feeling it may get nearer 3.

3:40 - Laing O'Rourke Solonaway Stakes (Listed Race)

Yet again, I will be opposing the O’Brien and Fallon favourite Ivan Denisovich, in favour of C&D winner Quinnmaster. He has had excellent form of late, with Murtagh on board for his past 3 wins. Murtagh is taking charge yet again for this. It may be worth noting that blindly backing Murtagh at the Curragh would have produced a healthy return. Ivan Denisovich is unproven on the distance, and has not won lately. He is also new to the course. However, Quinnmaster has won here before at this distance, and can handle most ground. I’m waiting until tomorrow to place my bet, but I hope to get around 3 or 4 to one on the exchanges.

    Bets:

    2:10 - Invincible Force
    3:10 - Tefolio
    3:40 - Quinnmaster

    I’ll update with prices tomorrow

I always like to keep an eye out for cross channel raiders and I see that FJ Lacy is sending across two runners to Uttoxeter today with the rather useful Paddy Flood on board for both. Can't say Ive heard of the trainer a whole lot but hes obviously saw an opportunity over there to do well which wasnt available here.

First one is : Youresomethinelse in the 250. A mare did well last time out at Down Royal to beat a warm favourite from the weld stable, she won at 14/1 that day but she appears to be showing up a lot lot shorter today :(

The next one is in the 435 which also happens to be a race that FTB has a fancy in....woops! "Meet The Family" ran last week in Galway in lower class opposition today so its strange they are taking the step up today....but maybe that was fine tuning for today as it had been off the track for the guts of 2 mths before that. Should be a decent price.Maybe for a place.(Opened at 11/1)

400: Cream Cracker. Top rated horse in the race, gets a mares allowance and claimer taking another 5lbs off, beaten a snot last time out, easy ! ;) Its also a class name :D (Opened at evens)

And if theres any money left in the sky rocket by 5pm Im going to go for Incas. Touched off last time out but probably because it had 2 close runs together. Has had over a weeks snoozy now and has 7lbs on the predicted fav Sento, I think he has the advantage here.(Opened at 7/2)

Just having a look at this race at Bazroy is jumping out at me for some reason  Probably because I think the jockey looks to be a star of the future, 12/1 aint a bad price for him, might wait till later and see if the pricing is good for a place.

    One more from me...

    Curragh 4:40

    Man on the Nile

This one could well be ahead of the handicapper and has a huge chance here.

Got word for raspberry bertet in the 4.10 at the curragh, plus ive noticed a jockey who has never ran in the UK before is on 1 horse today in hamilton, waterways in the 5.15, looks suspicious to me, would he go over for 90 quid? i think not.
