Sparring in UCD

    Hi all,

I'm currently a green belt in American Kenpo, I'm happy with the system but I'd like to learn to spar a bit more. Its very informal at my club, if you want to do it you'll have to find someone to do it with, there's no set classes as such.

Anywho, I'm studying in UCD this year and I was wondering which club would be best to join for a bit of intensive sparring, I'm not a very flexible man so I do believe TKD is out!

    Any suggestions would be great!

    Cheers,

    bob

Depends on what you're looking for sparring wise!

The kickboxing club used to have a few people, and the TKD club will bring you along even if you don't have the flexibility.

There's kratty, Shaolin, BJJ, boxing etc etc but if you're looking for points stuff kickboxing and TKD are the best choices

I was looking for more of semi-contact or full-contact sparring rather than points. I'd prefer to do something with no forms or sets, I've a hard enough time keeping my Kenpo ones in my head!
