    hi,

i want to upgrade our sky package from the normal one to the sky plus with multiroom, rang them up yesterday and was offered 69 quid for it, then i quoted the sky broadband offer that we in ireland would get 35 euros off the price of sky plus because we werent getting broadband, her computer then froze and she said she would ring me back, fair enough....

never called back, rang them again this morning and spoke to a different girl who was not as pleasant, was told 69 again and then i mentioned the 35 off thingy, she refused to budge on it and spoke to her manager, who again refused it, saying it was one offer per household and the 69 price was a point of call offer (????) , im pretty sure that it doesnt say that anywhere in the offer that it is one per household. i wasnt happy with and i then asked to be put through the cancellations department and was then cut off.

now to be honest, we are good customers, have had digital for id say 5 years, always on the sky world package, am i being too pushy or should i keep going and can anyone suggest a good line of attack?

    thanks

    joe

    Keep ringing...

Or get Sky+ and use the existing box (which is yours) without a card. All BBC & ITV etc....

Then later get multiroom if you really need pay channels on both.

Go Sky interactive (Text on 510 News)
    Wait,
    Pull out card
    Wait
    Backup
    DON'T PUT ANY CARD IN

    Press Guide

New UK EPG will load. Extra channels free and you can flick through to see which are free.

See ICDGopedia for list of free channels

The Sky offer does NOT include Multiroon, it is straight sub upgrade to Sky+ or SkyHD

Absoulutely amazing, nearly ever time I ring Sky there seems to be always a problem with their computers, "sorry sir, but my computer seems to be running slowly today....oh....no wait it has just crashed....would you mind ringing back"!!!! This is what I have been told nearly everytime I ring them over the years What sort of a company is it at all with dodgy computers??
