Did these over the last two nights out of boredom more than anything else. Critique welcome as usual. Spanks

Love the second one, great colours from the red to the pastel style skin colour. First one looks a bit freaky with what looks like veins (to me) :)

The marble skin doesnt look right ....maybe if the skin tone was a bit paler it might look better. Love the second one though.....porcelina!

The first one is very Borg like, it looks super though.:) I am also preferring the second one.

I relly like the second one too, looks like a photo you would see used in an advertisement, in one of those glossy fashion magazines.

    Great work.

Love the first one, there's a real dried earth or horrible alien look to the skin, very striking. What did you use to get the texture?
Not mad on the second one at all, although as has already been mentioned you got a great porcelain look to the models skin.
    Well done!

The cracked texture doesn't adhere to the body's form. It also seems to over-lap parts of the hair, whatever image mode you selected it has left an unconvincing vein effect on the skin. I think it's a pointless aspect to the photo. Why include it?

The second one a bit haphazard, I don't quite get it. Whats going on like? Still forgetting about the idea behind the photo. The wood texture is to grey, I think it softens the sharp contrast between the black top and white skin. I'd like to see that photo with some eye contact.

Thanks all :) Nice varied response which is always a good sign, Roen i just used a mask with the craquelure filter.

I actually agree with Shrimp. I have no idea whats supposed to be going on in the second one, seems kinda random.

I do like the first one though.

Yup, was just listening to Mellon Collie!!!

Anyhoo, back on topic, I think shrimp just put my lamo "doesnt look right" into slighty better words.

Craquelure? What on earth is that? New one on me!

    Second one for the win!

The first one might look better in B&W? I dunno...I'm not gone in the texture.

Try some different blending methods perhaps?

WHY is the border so big in the second one?! :)

The first one is very arresting but when you look closer the fact that it doesnt follow the contours of the body particularly makes it look like a PS effect which takes away from the picture.

The second one is pretty cool and quite beautiful. I like it even though its clearly meant to be beautiful and not much else. Its very well executed and could easily be in a glossy mag with a bottle of expensive perfume slapped on it somewhere. But ultimately I think if you had gotten the first one as you clearly wanted it, I would prefer it to the second one.

Very cool pics all the same. Nice one!

Love the 2nd one - great use of the scarf to break the picture a little.
