Eircom ADSL2+ Modems

    Ok i recieved a new modem from eircom i was surprised as i havent seen these ones before so i went onto the netopia site and according to them its a ADSL2+ Compatable Eircom future proofing?

    I've heard through the grapevine that eircom had a new modem for customers in the pipeline. I know of someone who got it before it was publicly released, through a mate of his in eircom. I guess that must be it...

    Nice to see they are finally bothering to future-proof their modems. Now if they used the enhanced noise/attenuation tolerance of the ADSL2 modems right now, it would be great:(

    Eircom and all the bitstream resellers have been supplying ADSL2+ compatable modems for at least a year.
