Just wondering if their are any gards here on boards that can share/enlighten/clarify a few things to do with motoring law and have a bit of a discussion. I know of 2 posters whom are members of the force so it`ll be interesting to see if they reply.
Ye could post annomously if ye want or register a new username if want to keep your main boards username unassociated with being a garda.

Shouldnt you put a disclaimer in along with a link to your other posts so they know what they're letting themselves in for?

doesn't registering 2 usernames usually lead to a site ban?

In Cavan there was a great fire / Judge McCarthy was sent to inquire / It would be a shame / If the nuns were to blame / So it had to be caused by a wire.

no offence but why would someone want to open themselves up to a whole world of pain - ive seen some of the attitudes people have towards gardai in previous threads

plus, i dont think that off duty gardai want to listen to the general public whinging and "clarifying" queries on speeding tickets etc - its leading boards down a dodgy avenue

if you need info on legislation just ask, if there are gardai on boards im sure they will only be too delighted to help genuine people, but will remain protected by anonymity should they wish to
