I've lived in Rathmines all my life and an trying to think of interesting or unusual or quirky things to do there. Can anyone help me? It should be easy - it's one of the most lively parts of Dublin. And I don't think TramCo counts!

There are 2 pool halls that I know of
    An amusement archade
    A swimming pool
    Countless pubs
Or you could go and talk to the homeless guy that sits outside the Swan Centre... He seems pretty quirkey :D

Rathmines is Officially the One Night Stand Capital of Ireland, thanks mainly to the high proportion of culchie nurses and students living in the area

I know that I for one have had many a quirky and unusual night in the flats, appartments and bedsits of Rathmines!

That does not answer the OPs question. If you have a suggestion then feel free to post it. If you do not, then do not post.
