    hi all, thankx for ur help wit my previous poem "the notice".. the criticism was greatly appreciated.. here's another i hope you'll like.. its pretty deep but.. you know the score... thankx ...:D



    Behind my eyes

    What’s left of me?
    Who’s kept with me?
    I have nothing left to see
    I’m lost without dignity
    All this goes on behind my eyes…

    Strung together like lies
    So dark - So sublime
    Bleeding myself from my ties
    The words dictate the meaning
    My tears are black and depleting
    It’s laced with delight
    Broken with a smile
    My voice - It quivers
    As the mist from my breath shivers
    You don’t feel anything at all.
    You let it all go by
    This all goes on behind my eyes…

    The times we’ve spoken
    And times I’ve made a token
    It’s a trust of misinterpreted landmine romance
    Shall I take it all?
    Accept it and hate it all by chance
    Moments like these don’t always have happy endings
    It all happens behind my eyes…

    I blink – Again and again
    A chain is pulling my pulse
    But this time its for real
    This time it’s going on
    Before my eyes…

    Walking away broken
    With withered hands and sullen cries
    It’s all held back…
    Behind my eyes…
