Ixoy's thread got me thinking. Have you ever seen an actor who plays a character that you love in a different role, and you love their new character even more because of the old one?

For me it would be Claudia Christian playing Bill's mom in Freaks and Geeks. I absolutely loved the fact that the world's geekiest guy gets Commander Ivanova as his mother. Everytime I watch the episodes with her I keep smiling at the though of how much Bill, Sam and Neil will love Babylon 5 in the future and how amazed they'd be if they knew who Bill's mother is.

I'm easily amused.:o
