The biggest tournament is the 50 double chance in the S/E. Usually 80-100 runners. 2000+2000 chips. Bit of a crapshoot but it's good.

The Jackpot has a 20 freezeout for beginners.

i'm not sure about the Fitz, possibly a freeroll.

Value is in the S/E, especially when you're knocked out in the 2nd level and get to play in a cash game.

I dont think im going to make it tonight, I just got knocked out of a tournamnet by someone who called my all in with J5o (from the cutoff) so im trying to goad him into playing me heads up

Well i was there at 9 and gone at 9.40 :D Hail the Chief!

Wasnt at the races tonight, previous evening was night of excessive drinking, lap dancing, and then couple hours of drunken poker, before crawling home at 7am and phoning in sick before i went to bed. Who says wednesday nights in Dublin are quiet:) .

Any results? Halfbaked you get a back to back by any chance?

I open pushed with 56s, he went all in on the cutoff with J5o - Do you really want to try and defend his play!

I'm not defending his play. I'm just clarifying what I thought happened and you've confirmed that I was right!!

Maybe he thought you would min raise AA or KK, and open push any other two cards, in which case he made a good call.

Or maybe he is a beginner and had no idea what he was doing

I'd say he put you on suited connectors and made a good call. You probably need to adjust your bet-sizing.

yes, you are such a tellbox.

Thanks roundtower, I was in the fitz 2 nights ago and lost a big pot to some guy who limped utg and called a raise with 24o. I was wondering why he called but now I realise he must of gotten a tell from me preflop that I was weak and I only had 1 pair.

If you had just a pair then you only had 2 outs to improve. He had 2 different cards and had 6 outs to improve, therefore he's a favourite.
    This is ABC stuff tbh.

Played the double chance last night. Good fun despite playing like a cabbage. I delivered two horrible suckouts last night, rivering 2 different people a couple of hands apart with a couple of 2 outers(i'm only mildly sorry though :-P )
