Right, I've decided to treat myself for my 21st a new* 300d (Cant afford anything else really!)

    Was looking at this

    http://cgi.ebay.ie/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140028311992

How much is this all worth, realistically? The bid is at 320 pound (457) atm

Kicker is postage is 50 pound (70 euro)

So again, How much is it worth? (Also have my eye on a backkup piece :)

For a 300D thats not a bad deal considering that theres a battery grip and all that other stuff in there as well , including that Sigma lens although to be honest that lens is nothing to write home about , marginally better than a kit lens in my opinion.

I would not pay much more than that bid for it though , a 300D is now two generations back and is almost a 5 year old camera.

For a while now its successor the 350D has been popular and the 400D is now due. These have an increase in resolution and extra features and also come in black , which is not as easily marked as the silver on that model.

I'm well aware of the 350d/400d! Poor student here!

I'd email the seller and ask how many shots are on the shutter.
It might only have 10k shots left on it.

Well I warned him I wouldnt speak to him anymore if he bought a Nikon.... maybe he is actually scared of me! I tend to have that affect sometimes lol!!

Being serious though, thats a nice offer, if you live in Nikon land.

If they still have stock left: Argos (Extra branches only) have exact same for €580, as do Dixons.

Was going to buy one, then decided to wait to have a look at D80, then decided D80 not much different in price to Canon 30D, then looked at 400D, then read rumour of 40D, then my head exploded :)
