I'm taking photos for someone , for an upcoming event .
Rather than handing over the jpegs on cd , is there software available (nothing too expensive !) , that allows me place the images in an album, that i can put on the cd as a nice collection, rather than just putting flat jpegs on the cd .
    Any ideas welcome !

Here is an option. There are a lot of different programmes available but some are expensive. Movie Maker is free, easy to use and there is nothing like a bit of music to give the show atmosphere.

I bought some software for about £19-20 which allows you to put together shows etc using pictures, video and you can add sound.

The beauty of this is it enables you to save it various format depending on how its to be viewed ie Ipod, email, web or from a cd/dvd (highest quality & size)

I'll look at what it is later tonight when I get home and edit this post.

That was me I think. I used ProShow Gold. It's kinda expensive though @ $70.

The best CD wedding Album I seen was from an old friend ,the tip he gave me was always change the photos when the music changes .(If theres music.)
It really gives it a professional look.
Borderfox here does the same type of stuff aswell.

ProShow Gold is classy alright, it's got a hell of a lot of options there.

On reflection ProShow probably is worth the money. It produces excellent results and the end product certainly has a WOW! factor.

Best one I have used, I find it simple to use in comparision to some of the others. Anyone I gave a disc made on it was happy with them. :)

Picassa2 has an option for it and I'm going to be using it next week if you can wait that long for a review. I'm betting dollars to donuts that its brilliant as the rest of the app is!
