As testament to the growing scene in Limerick, in only its second year the UL DJ Society will now be throwing a new spectacular electronic event, the PHONO Sessions, every Wednesday night in the courtyard of the Trinity Rooms, starting from the 13th of September.

The PHONO Sessions will encompass all aspects of House with a taste of Electro and Techno. Headed up by it’s 6 Residents, John Mc, Jonney, Paul Maloney, Chris Moore,Shane Breen and Ross O’Lochlainn, it promises to have something for everyone and a whole lot more for others!

Wednesday the 13th sees Paul Maloney (3rd place in Irish Intervarsity DJ Competition) and Chris Moore team up for the return of the Limerick Art College, with a smooth and tasty serving of House being delivered fresh from these two accomplished DJs.

The following week will see John Mc and Ross O’Lochlainn operating the controls for the return of the UL students on the night of the 20th to bring you a tougher blend of Electro House that’ll have you bouncing till the lights are on…

Jonney and Paul step up the wheels of steel on the 27th to bring you a mixture of funky and soul filling house, with a touch of sleaze that promises to keep the courtyard hoppin’

Jon Averil (BACKLASH) makes his first Trinity Rooms appearance as our first guest to this Wednesday night fiasco on the 4th of October. Jon will be bringing his own particular brand of house, disco, punk-funk and acid house. The night promises to be a cracker with Chris Moore and Ross O’Lochlainn on support.
