    heading over tommorow . i am not playing the main event but will probably play the 1k saturday.Any info on bars / places to see while not playing poker.

    There are hop on/off buses that take you around all the sites and are pretty good. Make sure you get to see the Sagrada Familia, it's a cathedral they've been building for the past hundred years or so and is pretty amazing.

    As for nightlife, there are loads of tapas bars and pubs around the old Gothic Quarter which are pretty cool.

    Hey OP I've been here in Barca for the past few days. It's an amazing city.
    Avoid the theme bars except perhaps Flahertys and if you're clubbing go to Karma in Placa Raeil down Las Ramblas. It's mostly locals but you should have great craic. Just go easy on the spirits, €6 for half a slim jim of vodka soon starts to take its toll!

    If you're still around on monday night go to City Hall on the north side of Catalunya quarter for the "International Party" night. Sounds naff but its basically full of the most delectable ladies that the world has to offer, you won't regret it. And as before, easy on the cheap shots :)

    Ba Ha Beach club (spelling could be wrong and it's not a strip club) but get a bunch of lads, sit at the bar order a beer and then tip the bar girl. The next thing you know, you're being hang cuffed and forced to lick whipped cream off this girls tits, who by the way is Croatian, a model and in a bikini!!! Good, clean sport...apart from the whipped cream. Place goes bananas after 2pm!

    the wife doesn't like me licking cream of croation tits, bikini'd or otherwise/ whipped or not.
