Death Via Satellite is a rocktacular, electro/new wave, indie night that will be holding court once a month in Eamonn Dorans, Dublin. Bringing the best bands to you with minimum fuss and maximum noise...

The next show takes place on Tuesday September 19th in Eamonn Dorans where we promise a spankingly good line up and e3.50 for any drink, just cos we're that nice... This shows features alazarussoul, Mendoza and guests TBC... The first show saw Love Lies Sleeping, from Los Angeles California headline as part of their Irish tour, August saw the mean, moody and magnificent Queen Kong mesmerize DVS.

alazarussoul are a crack unit comprising some of Dublin's finest underground (and soon to be overground) musicians, featuring visionary and band cornerstone Brian Brannigan and joined by members of highly lauded Irish rockers Future Kings Of Spain. They have already released an album in 2002 to impressive reviews, great fan reaction and a glut of airplay all over Ireland.
alazarussoul have crafted a set of haunted yet urgent songs that speak to the head as well as the ear, a strong lyrical message entwined within a potent blend of electronics, maudlin guitar lines and wistful melody. With FKOS returning to the Dublin scene at HWCH and the eagerly awaited alazarussoul album 'Graveyard of Burnt Out Cars' due for release this year, make sure to be in attendance at DVS 03 at the crest of this wave...

Mendoza warm things up for alazarussoul with a searing set full of new-wave rock energyblast, where a blitzkreig of a show is always delivered. Since returning to the live fold in early 2006 with a full arsenal of noise operas Mendoza have been turning heads around Ireland with their melding of Korg synth growl, chiming guitars, filthy bass and infectious beats. They are soon playing a couple of shows in London in November, including Camden's legendary Dublin Castle so be there to see them preview tracks from their upcoming EP before its on your iPod and in your ears... And bring a towel, as its bound to get sweaty!

More guests TBA this week, check myspace for updates. As always all drinks are e3.50 after 10.30 so bring your drinking boots/dancing shoes as guest DJ's play the best in rock/indie/electro/new wave til late...

Doors at 8.45, admission is 5.

good line-up fellas, and these cheap drinks you speak of are very tempting! If I'm early enough to take one of those guest slots even better...
