See through teeth!

The tips of nearly all of my teeth have gradually become see through. Imagine looking through a glass of water with a few drops of milk and that's the way they are.

Is this serious? Anybody else have this?

    Thanks

Have you been bleaching your teeth?
    Have they become more sensitive?

You should probably go and see your dentist to find out what is causing it.

No bleaching and no increase in sensitivity

the tips of the teeth are supposed to be see though. this is where the enamel on front meets the enamel on back and the dentine and the dentine isnt in the middle. all good cosmetic dentistry aims to make this tip translucency into veneers or crowns. this tip enamel wears as you age or can wear prematurely or chip off if you grind your teeth (dysfunction). if the whole tooth is thinning and its not just the tips the enamel is possibly dissolving away which happens if you drink excessive carbonated drinks, orange juice, or have gastric reflux or vomit alot for whatever reason and bleaching asstated by ethO
treatment is leave alone/stop furthur progression by eleminating cause/ veneers/crowns. http://www.ultradent.com/products/products.php?act=results&fid=5&pid=69
that shows natural tip edge translucency.

It's just the tips that are translucent so hopefully it's natural. Don't drink any fizzy stuff etc.

    Thanks
