The show's not starting until 1pm, so 10am meet might be a little early seeing as its Sunday morning and all.

How about 11 ?, should give plenty of time to get there.

I had a great day completely ruined by 2 seperate brushes with death.

Whilst approaching a junction coming into Phibsborough some scumbag cager on his mobile phone just drifted right in front of me and came within inches of my bike. I layed on the horn and then drove up beside his window and threatened to pull him out of his car and tear his head off. Needless to say he wasn't long putting his foot down and tearing off down a side street.

So you can imagine the mood I was in on the way home and then just after driving past the Coombe Womens Hospital a silly old bint in a Corsa did exactly the same thing, she just changed lane, without indicating right into my lane (left lane) and if I didn't break in time I'd be dead. It was so close that when we had both stopped my handle bar was touching her door. All she could say was "i didn't see you". Needless to say I f**king lost it (as you do) and told her that people like her are responsable for bikers deaths every week.

Can someone please remind me why , oh why I waste my time and money on driving a bike in Ireland where people have little or no respect for us.

it makes us look cool? :)

yeah i had the same thing coming off the m50, a guy turning onto the m1 decides at the last minute to change his mind. luckily i was only going around 50 so i was able to power out of the way of him, but unfortunatly my hand fell off the hadlebar just afterwards & the wind caught my middle finger & made it stand up. strange how that happened... :)

    Lordy! that's not good.

On the plus side, at least you were aware enough to save your own skin, twice, in the one journey.

As for why we do it, I reckon it's so we dont end up like them ...wasting away half asleep sitting in their cage for 4 hours a day.

Yeah sorry Dave, by the time we hit college green I was in "get home mode" It had been a long day of driving. Plus in the two nights before, I had gotten about 7 hours sleep total. So I was kinda recked. Went to bed the moment I got home

As for that Dumbass on the phone. The really ironic thing was that we where all sitting at the traffic lights as he pulled up to them. We (me and Al at least) even looked in and where like WTF. But when it came to the lights going green, I had a feeling something like that was going to happen. So I powered away from the traffic lights. Was keeping an eye in the mirror too. When I seen you where alright and from 100meters down the road and over the Termi's on the Duc, I could still hear Al (K-tric) shouting at the guy. I nearly pissed my-self laughing. hehe (but only once I seen you where ok ;) )

As for the fewl on the fone, man i nvr saw any one so freaked out in my life, he whipped that car of his down the side alley as quick as he could to get away.

Wasnt impressed with the taxi either, cut me off and then ciaran also... fecking eejit.
