    Hi folks, my phone just gave up and i'm wondering if anyone knows where I could get a sim free handset for good money. Maybe a Sony Erricsson?

    Fixed your thread up a bit there OP. Indeed have a look through adverts.ie-> For Sale Adverts->Mobiles FS or put up what you are looking for in the Wanted ads. Have you looked at expansys.ie also? They can be expensive enough sometimes. Give eBay a try too.

    You should pick one up easy enough on eBay - just make sure the feedback is good and the phone is unlocked to all networks

    What about buying a ready to go offering on whatever network your on, your sim will work fine on that
