How low will the E6600 go before Christmas?

With the imminent arrival of Kentsfield in November, I am wondering what a Core 2 Duo E6600 will cost, at and after Christmas.
The Core 2 Quadro with two E6700 chips at 2.66GHz is priced at around €1000, so I would imagine a Quadro with two E6600 chips will cost around €600 at most.
Is it possible for the Core 2 Duo E6600 to drop a hundred euro to €250 in 3 months?

Unless someone has seen evidence/roadmaps of a big price drop I wouldn't count on it. Intel knows it has the advantage no need to slash prices on what are probably it's top sellers. There may well be a small price drop but not €100 I'm guessing.

The quad core chips will for the immediate future remain a niche item until Intel is able to ramp up production then prices will be probably shift.
