Bought Dead Rising yesterday only to come home to find out my 360 was broken!

    So i was in GS in town yesterday deciding between Dead Rising and Saints Row...ended up leaving with neither and buying it later on in Dundrum in Game (where it was f*eckin €75 and only €64 or something in GS). Anyway so i got home and plugged in the 360 as it had been idle for a couple of days because i had changed it to a different tv. I put the game in and get ready to play and for some reason i get no picture on the tv, only sound. I double check all the cables and make sure the switch is on 'tv' not 'hdtv'. Still nothing. I move to a different tv to check if it worked there and still no god damn picture...only the sound. End up ringing Xbox support where they went through aload of questions and in the end tell me to try another AV cable from a friend to see if maybe the AV cable was broken. Borrowed another AV cable straight away praying that it was just the cable...still no picture! Rang them today and i have to send my 360 off to Germany to get it fixed...obv its still under warranty so don't have to pay anything but its quite annoying especially after just buying Dead Rising. Plus i don't know how it happened...one day the console was working and a couple of days later its just not. I got the console at christmas so it was one of the early ones, is it true that there has been problems with that first batch of them? Has this ever happened to anyone?
    Luckily my friend was nice enough to lend me his xbox so i did get to play it all today....pretty good i must say. Thought originally it might get a bit boring after a while just going around wacking zombies but there's more to it than that. Oh yeah does anyone find it hard to read the writing when your talking to another characters or is it just my tv. Its really small and i have to squint barely catching any of it. Thats my only complaint about it....plus i did get a bit annoyed about the saving originally as i had played for 2 and a half hours and died having to start the bloody game again. Felt like lashing the game out the window. Anyway i caught up quite quickly so all was good. Bring on more zombie smashing 2mo!

    Think i'm done....quite a long one so well done for getting this far.
