Ace shot, those clouds look really surreal (almost a painting), and the steely grey reflection (of what i assume is the moon..?), across the water is class...

but damn that sky is cool...

The road is between malahide and portmarnock ,very easy to stop on and get out with the tripod.
Heres another shot from the same spot.

Commented on these on flickr. Nice shots.

    Tey are nice shots.
The right side however looks a little bit too cut off and I have the feeling that there is something missing on the right side.

Thanks again for the replies :) ,
Mdebets ,with the image of the two guys fishing I cropped the left hand side and the top where the moon was. I done this to get the guys fishing into the rule of thirds.
The howth head shot is cropped mostly at the top ,where the moon was.I thought with the moon in the shot it would be too distracting.
I'm still getting to terms with composition ,I try to get it right when I'm taking the shots but it doesn't always work :(

    Cheers.

Man - that is a great shot of Howth.

I am originally from Howth & 1 of my favourite views of it is from the sea looking back at it (I used to ge that view regularly when I sailed .......)

It is just a great shot!
