Episode Title: "Flight"

TV.com Summary:

As the escape is in progress, Warden Pope and Captain Bellick begin a search to detain the escapees. Michael and co. have to reach the aircraft fast as the police is hot on their heels. Veronica discovers a major piece of evidence that could prove Lincoln's innocence. The Vice President is worried about losing her authority.

Sweet mother of jesus. Not as good as last week I thought, but in the process of looking for s2. Enough said. Don't know how they're oging to get a second season out of it at all..

Lots of tension and if a small bit of humor. Heywire robbing the kids bike with the helmet was class.

Haven seen the trailer for season 2 it was a give away of what was gona happen. Wish I didnt see it now. Kind spoiled it abit. Yeah yeah stupid me!

I give it an 8.. I was going to give it a 7 but Abruzzi's hatchet job bumped it up a notch.

Kinda disappointing though, the last 2 episodes had some crazy build-up and shouting at the TV moments.

I'll coin in my 2 cents from the original 'Prison Break' thread when i saw this episode last May:

Don't know... thought the finale was a bit disappointing to be honest. It was decent but i was expecting some spectacular!

I liked the final shot of the gang running from the police but seems like a bit inconsitent overall. Not a real cliffhanger..

Liked the twist with the president's water being poisoned.. even up to the dropping of the Vice's water bottle.. i thought she was a gonner!

Haywire with a football helmet riding a girl's bike will be the image i'll take from that finale.. along with a hand-less T-Bag staring at his hand on the ground next to him.

Still... some of the best TV this year without a doubt and looking forward to a second season which i still do think they could potentially do well! Veronica has found Steadman, the gang are on the run and all have sights on Charles money (i'm guessing) while being pursued by a presumably pissed T-Bag. The faith of both Haywire and Tweener are still up in the air and will Abruzzi reveal the 3 he planned to put on the plane? All will hopefully be revealed next season!

I, for one, can't wait!

I thought it was absolutely terrific. So much tension, carrying on perfectly from last week.

My favourite moments definately were Abruzzi taking T-Bag's hand off (ouch!) and Haywire stealing the bike and helmet....classic! Special mention also to the twist involving the murder of the president. With the cameras panning on the VP's bottle of water during her press conference, you always assumed that she was the one who was going to be poisoned (at least I did anyway!)

Desperate to see the start of Season 2 now. I mean, that last shot showed the squad cars within sight of the prisoners, they're ****ed!

I thought it was pretty good, I'm a bit annoyed that they finished it with such an open ending but I suppose they want to have somewhere to continue on from.

Does anybody know when it'll be back on RTE?

i'd say jan or feb at the earliest, i'd say it'll be a big thing for their spring schedules.

Not really sure how i'm gonna wait til then though. I wonder if i can tune in any sattelite channels that are showing it!

i'd imagine series two will be on channel 5 first if you want to tune your satellite that way. they were finished series one months before RTÉ even started it

if they can plant a gun in the back seat then why not a walkie talkie so that Abruzzi can tell his mates with the plan that they're on the way?

Having seen the trailers for season 2 it all looks good. The voice over at the end of the show said it will be back in the new year.

Thought it was very good but was screaming at the TV at the end when the plane took off. Looks like the cops are withing shooting distance of them. Great moment with haywire and the bike. Thought he was going to attack the girl or something. also when T-bags hand got chopped off! (very unrealistic looking hand though!)
The president dying was a good twist as though it was going to be the vice-president. She is good!
No mention on Lincolns son for the last few episodes. Where is he and could this be the new "prison break" in season 2 getting him out?

It's a shame that RTE didn't show one more episode on its own so they would've wound up with episode 21 and 22 as a two-hour finale.

I'm sure the police would have all channels monitored for the walkie talkie thing to work! A mobile phone would've been a better idea!

Very good finale but a bit of an anti-climax after the tension of last week's 2-parter.

Highlights:
- Haywire riding off into the night on the kid's bike!
- Abruzzi finally getting his own back on T-bag
- Belleck's "just get my shotgun!!!!" rant

Suprises:
- The twist with the VP.. though I have a feeling she's gonna regret talking to Michelle Forbes like that - she didn't take crap in Galactica either!
- Looks like Tweener ("that Vanilla Ice kid!" - lol) is the only one who actually looks like he's going to get away so far :eek:

Lowlights:
- Sarah OD'ing (shame - wait till Michael finds out )
- Having to wait till the new year!! (not sure I'll be able to though..)

Thought it was a good episode but not as good as the build up from the last episodes! Still, there was some obvious highlights which people have beaten me to...

Abruzzi chopping T-Bags hand off! FANTASTIC! (Why did he chain himself to Michael anyway?)

Veronica finding Terence

Thinking back, there wasn't much better bits. I wanted more emotional stuff from Michael/Lincoln and a bit more with them, but I suppose the tension made up for it.

Looking forward to season 2! I hate the waits! Still, I hope next series doesnt spoil it

the vicep didn't kill the president
it was an accident, she didn't know anything about it.

Where you watching the same episode as everyone else?

It was very clearly revealed that the vice-president was responsible. She even said "I told you I can get things done", to Michelle Forbes character re: killing the president.
