    Hi guys,

I don't know why I haven't thought of posting here until now. Basically, we're looking for a singer, male or female, 25 to 35, who can front a rock band. We've been advertising on and off for about four months now and haven't really found what we're looking for yet.

We're basically looking for someone who can FRONT a rockband - someone who can deal with an audience and keep them entertained. We've met plenty of singers who can sing but we just can't see them handling a crowd. We're not too fussy on previous experience - rock, metal, trad, choir, whatever! We are, however, pretty fussy on the sound we're looking for. So girls, if you think you can do a mean Skunk Anansie, No Doubt or Evanescence, please get in touch. Fellas, if you can handle some Lenny Kravitz, Pearl Jam or Thin Lizzy, we'd love to hear from you.

We're based in Galway and are looking for someone who can put a good bit of commitment into this, not someone who's already in a couple of other bands and is looking for an extra gig or two. It's a startup (drum, bass, two lead guitars) so realistically if we can get the right singer we could be gigging in about three or four months.

Feel free to either post here or send me a private message if you prefer. Thanks a million. Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Jason

    hey,
I am 26 and from Clare, ...I have 7 years experience, fronted 2 Rock bands in Ireland and one in Canada, released a c.d in 2001 with my old band, played as part of the heineken green energy festival, hotpress band of the year and a couple of IMRO showcases...and also other gigs all over Ireland, actually I think we won the magpie magazine band competetion in Cuba in Galway...or we won something there anyway...:) released a alternative/acoustic c.d in 2005 in Canada...and now I'm back in Ireland looking to join a band again...because I miss it...:(
do you guys have any recordings i could hear?

hows it goin, ive been singing in a band for the past 8 years but we have recently stopped playing due to a few of the lads going travelling and stuff. im well used to working crowds and have played regular gigs in all the main cover band venues eg..queys, kings head, cuba as well as venues nationwide. my last band were full time so i have plenty of gigging experience.

heres two covers we recorded last year, im on lead vocals.

I currently do some Pearl Jam and Lizzy in a gigging cover band in the city but i believe am too young for your criteria.

    Shame.:(
