I always wanted to play with the girls, preferred Barbie and Cindy over action figures and played skipping at break time instead of soccer. Look at me now!

    Any one else?

(No criticism for me adding to stereotype. As a child I did do the above)

Well I suspected something was up when I started having erotic dreams about the boys in my class.

If this thread doesn't save the forum, I don't know what will ;)

I knew I was gay when we found a few dirty magazines (they were lying on the ground) and I found I greatly preferred the male pictures to the female pictures.

That and my crush on Wesley Crusher from Star Trek (how embarrassing).

Aged 12,first year in secondary school (all boys:D :D:D ) and you were considered queer* if you didn't have a w--- with the other boys. Its great to look back on old school team pics and say "I had the lot!!";)

    * Now UU don't go attacking me for using the word, :D

Hung out with all the girls in primary & secondary school. I also played skipping at lunch time instead of soccer. Me & another boy played with the girls. Turns out I met him about a yr ago in a gay club with his bf :D I was chuffed to see him 'out'. I suppose I always knew from as far back as i can remember but wasn't comfortable with who I was until I started college - dats when I defo found out that I loved boys :p

I exaggerate ! But out of 15 I had "moments" with 11/12 (the other 2/3 were queer*) and of course the headmaster and sportsmaster were NOT my scene (although I have my doubts about the headmaster!) They say that schooldays are meant to be your happest. Ahhh maybe!

    *see above

It was kind of a gradual thing over about 9 years from the age of 13 to 22 and I can't specifically say any date/time

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

I had my first crush when I was 8, she was in my class and certainly caused stirings and blushes.
My first crush on a guy wasn't until I was 15 and caused a fair bit of confusion and then for a long while I had tougth what had gone before was something girls grew out of.
I seriously tought I had to make up my mind as I went from relationship to relationship falling for different people both male and female.
Then when I was 20 I said bugger it I am Bi and thats that both genders have thier alure for me.

At some point you start counting up all the "oh, I really want to be friends with Girl X" moments and go AHA! :D

Also, there was a mysterious affinity with Dr Weaver when the Lesbian Season of ER was happening... ;)

Same as Stark with the porno mags, was more interested in the guys than the girls. Unfortunately at the time it didn't seem so much 'straight' or 'gay' as it did 'right' or 'wrong'.

Also, looking back, I'd say it's safe to say I had a crush on a few friends through the years :)

I spose Im a bit weird in that I never thought I was'nt gay lol.
Im told that from an early early age it was so obvious they (the parents) figured "why bother trying to change him" ;)
I guess the fact that I apparently chose girls baby toys as opposed to boys 100% of the time, only made female friends as a kid, and general didnt get along with boys as a child, might have made them think lol........ ;)
