Waterford Castle Golf Club - anyone played it?

    I live in Dublin and have been invited down to play Waterford Castle on Saturday next in a 36 hole competition (freebie).

    Has anyone played this course and is it worth the trip down? We're teeing off at 9:30am so I'd need to be leaving Dublin shortly after 6am if I want to get a bite to eat and a few shots in beforehand.

    Appreciate all feedback.

    ABSOLUTELY!!!

    That's a doozy of a freebie Madds... I played it about 4yrs back when I was pretty much a beginner but it was lovely. A group of friends played it this summer as well and were well impressed with it too.

    You have to take a short ferry trip across to it which all adds to the fun... I liked it anyway and if I'd a freebie I'd gladly hop up early to spin down...
