    Hey I have just moved in to a new house and the estate has a wifi network setup, is there any quick way for me to check what service provider the estate and now I am with.

    If not i'll have to have to track down the sys admin for the estate and ask him but that's very low tech.

    Go to http://www.dnsstuff.com/

    The IP address that is listed at the top right is the IP address that is being used to access the internet on your behalf. Paste that address into the IPWHOIS box to see what ISP that address is assigned to.
