    Hi

Need some advice regarding the Panasonic Lumix LZ series. I will be using the camera mainly for lanscape/senery shots, do a bit of hiking, but also for nights out. Therefore I need a compact camera taht will perform well. This camera has a 6x optical zoom but lacks a viewfinder which is kind of putting me off. The LZ2 are selling for about 150e with a 1gb SD card on ebay (recondtitioned). My question is, do you think this camera is good enough for what I need and do you have ay recomendations on cameras under 250e/compact with good optical zoom and features.

    Thanks for your help

Im after buying a TZ1 on ebay if you were in no rush you could get one with a 2gb card for 250. I was goging to buy a v610 but i heard there was a lot of problems with it. Havent got the camera yet but it should be here tomorrow

    Thanks plonk!

TZ1 looks good specially the 10x optical for that price, but still has no viewfinder. Has anyone got experience of outdoor shooting without a viewfinder? Does the glare make the LCD screen unviewable?
