    Hi,
I'm looking for somewhere amazing for my honeymoon. We had orignally thought the hilton water villas in the maldives, but were put off by it being so isolated.
We're looking for a really good 5 star hotel with amazing rooms, with movie channels etc. Close to the centre, Don't want to be restricted to the hotels bars and resturants.
    Probably the caribbean, thailand...
    Anyone know any resorts???

Sandals Princessa Del mar in Cuba or Sandals Grand in St Lucia, very nice resorts. St Lucia is more luxurious I loved it .

Or a cruise onboard Celebrity cruises in a private balcony stateroom sailing round the caribbean. www.celebritycruises.com

also www.sandals.com will give you more info.

We went to Cape town for 3 nights and Mauritius for 9 nights. Absolutely fabulous. With Hindsight I would have proportioned the time in each place better. Perhaps 5 nights in Cape Town and 7 in Mauritius.

Cape Town is a faboulous city. Table Mountain is worth the 10 hour flight alone and I mean that. It would take your breath away. Amazing views and we will def return. There is an Area called Victoria and Alfred Waterfront (google it) that is full of bars and shops and restaurants and it a lovely place. Some nice beaches if you wanna get some sun but there is lots to see and do in the area like shark fishing and a tour of Nelson mandelas prision on Robben Island. Im telling you a faboulous place. :)

Mauritius is what you would expect it to be! Sun sea and Sand! Pure relaxation. We were in a 4 star all inclusive Hotel (they are like mini resorts) that was really nice but you dont have a lot to do but sunbathe and relax on the beacf or beside the pool. Having said that, all the watersports were free, snorkelling, canoes, even scuba lessons. You dont really venture out of the hotel grounds apart from travelling to the capital Port Louis or an other little resort called the Grand Baie. This is a lovely little place with bars shops and restaurants but as it was 25 mins in a taxi away we only went once.

This was our honeymoon and def was the holiday of a lifetime. Cant wait to go back to Capetown. Incidentally we went In November so weather in both place was gordous.:)

St Lucia is fabulous, amazing island. I'd recommend Ti Kaye (www.tikaye.com), as the Rodney Bay part of the island seemed a little packed for me. It depends when you want to go though.
