    folks

my astra signal is breaking up on most channels, just wondering if the lnb is crocked? i have the same signal strength as a friend on the same lidl setup. dish is fine, no rust blah blah.

getting about 75% strenght and the other bar is 85%.

looks like the lnb is gone?

No doesn't sound like LNB fault.
Check quality bar on the channels that are breaking up.

If it was the lnb it would effect the signal reading, At a rough guess i'd say you haven't wired one or both f-plugs correctly, IE one of the small wires you strip back is touching the inner core

Unless it was very intermittant when cable disturbed, most unlikely, in case of a short you get nothing.

well, the channels break up intermittently, sometimes the beeb and utv work , other times they dont, all the other ones are crap. men and motors, cnn, et al.

i took off the f cable at the lnb end and put it back myself, i dont know ifi have it done properly thou? is there a specific way to do this?
    cheers
