    Well everyone just wondering does anybody know whether there are any part-time positions available in Limerick city for a 6th yr student....any shops looking for part-time staff or anything....thanks so much

    best bet is to ask in shop. argos are always looking for weekend staff..in town and the cresent and since alot of students are going back to college you are bound to pick something up.

    although i would not recommend working while in 6th year.. it just gets in the way.

    ya i alredy tried alot of shops and nobody bothered to reply back...it seems impossible...havent tried dunnes but they probly wont take on people in school

    I work in Debenhams(Roches), they're really good at giving time off to staff who have been there since 16, but you have no hope of getting a job in 6th yr if you need study time.

    I worked Sunday only until 8 weeks before the leaving and it worked out fine got 525 in the end. All the you can't juggle work and study talk is just crap.

    If you are lucky enough to find someplace they might not be very accomodating as you are new.
