There are three accounts on my computer (windows xp), The one which i use 'x' account, 'y' account and 'z' account (x,y,z just to make it easier). When i am logged in under 'x' account and try to click on 'my music' folder in the start menu, supposed to contain my music tracks, i am brought to the 'my music' folder for the account 'z'! however its only in the start menu, all other ways of accesing the 'my music' folder from my account bring me to my proper 'my music' folder. This is very unusual, its not a virus though cause ive checked. Has this happend to anyone else and how do you fix it?:(

Have you simply tried removing the My Music entry from the start menu through the start menu customization section and tried putting it back again ?

Or download TweakUI, under My Computer->Special Folders select My Music and make sure the location is set to that of account x

Right click anywhere the taskbar or start menu,
    select properties,
click on Customize (the one at the top not the bottom one),
    click on the Advanced tab,
under the heading of start menu items scroll down the list till you find My Music
tick the box for don't display this item,
click okay & then again to close the window
verify the My Music entry is gone from the start menu

Now repeat the above just tick the box this time for display as link & see if that corrects it. If not try TweakUI.
