    and

    a

    Intel® Pentium® Processor Extreme Edition 965

    for under €400

i see the x6800 is 1,025 on komplett so its probably the best

Don't ask questions, just grab it.

    I'll give ya E500 for it now.......:p

Oh ya, the Asus p5w dh is the best clocker of those mobo's. no point in having an E6800 & not clocking it. The extreme is the only conroe with the unlocked multi.

here is what i bought in the end

    Asus P5B, P965, Socket-775, ATX,

    GbLAN, 6xSATAII, PCI-Ex161.00312364Crucial DDR2 BallistiX PC6400 1024MB CL4

    Kit w/two matched BallistiX 64Megx641.00324458Gainward GeForce 7300LE 256MB DDR2,

    PCI-Express, "BP7300LE-256-TV-DVI"1.00313802NorthQ 4001EXT, Silent ATX 400W, 140mm

    Fan, 12-17dBA, 2xSATA, PCI-E, 20/24pin1.00100334RJ-45 UTP CAT5 inline coupler

    F/F 8/8

didn't really bother reading too much into it, i want the pc for just internet browsing, and a bit avi,mpg to dvd converting, and a bit of dvd menu work

not into games so just got a cheap pci-e card with tv-out, put a few extra quid into memory instead. i have never seen a pc use more them 700mb, so think that more then a gig is a waste

will the 400w power supply be suficient?, my 3.0ghz HT p4 burned out a 300w in about 5mins

got the cat5 coupler so that i can use a crossover cable and a normal cable to join the pc to my gigabit network on the medicenter

Should be fine if you run on stock, not really sure bout oc'ing tho. Maybe change it for 500w if u can. Pointless having 6800 & not havin a go at oc'ing

400watts would be heaps if it was a good brand. Since it's a NorthQ, it's just enough in my opinion.
