    Hi Gang,

I don't know what to play in the Fitzwilliam tonight. There is the William Hill Grand Prix satellite on at 20.00 €150 re-buy tournament starts at 8.00 p.m.. The fact that it is a re-buy is a bit scary, the buy-ins might add up.

Then there is the world famous scalps tournament, which I have had recent success in.

Any opinions on what other people are doing?

I think i'll just head in for 8.30 p.m. and see how many runners there are for the William hill satellite and take it from there.

Smurph, I believe there is no scalps tournament tonight in the Fitz, and that it is just the William Hill sat. There is only one ticket though, so should be fairly substansial other prizes once the 9k for the ticket is reached. You should ring before you head in to find out for definite about the scalps thing, but I am fairly sure he announced last week that was a replacement for a week.

I can't go wither way as I am away this weekend, so makes no difference to me.

30 min blinds all the way, 90 minute rebuy period, not sure of starting stack. There is a hot dinner served too I believe.

Nothing that a holdemophile like you would like. The round of each (omaha, Holdem, Pot Limit) is on. If you fancy unbridled recklessness then go for it. If you do know how to play Omaha go for it because you will have a huge edge. I have played this 9 times this year and finished in the top 3 five times. It is a pot luck thing at times though as some many people are all in on any given hand.

    Fun though.

There is also a satellite for the Green Joker Poker Fetival main event at The Star & Crescent in Drogheda. It is a €25 rebuy with 2500 starting, 3000 rebuy and 5000 top up. 90 minute rebuys, first three levels 30 mins and 20 mins subsequently. Same structure as Thursday game. As many tickets as possible will be given out.
