Any recommendations for good pubs, clubs, etc in Dublin where one can go and see good live music? Either original or covers? Only really know the Mezz and Dorans and stuff, but where else is there???

Radio City (used to be Issac Butts)
Temple Bar Music Centre (when a Ticketmaster.com band isnt playin, its got some good dance nights if ur into that)
Whelans and the Village on Wexford St (again, ticketmaster.com nights and local artist nights, Whelans is always good on a Friday/Saturday)
Voodoo Lounge on the Quays (but most people call it a dump, so be weary, and its not in the most localised part of town)

You can catch the open mic nights in town. Theres The Zodiac Sessions on Wednesday nights from 9pm in Bruxelles bar and then theres The Fiach and Ro Show every Monday in Thomas Reads.
