Psychology is pretty heavy by all accounts so teaming it up with 2 other heavies like English and History is giving yourself alot of work.

If your willing and able to handle the work load, thats cool. My advice would be though if your not to do one heavy subject and one slightly less demanding like say Greek and Roman from second year on.

I did History and Economics with my Finance degree in Maynooth. Unless you really liked History I would n't recommened doing it. The work load is pretty big and high grades are by no means a certainty even if you do put the work in.
I enjoyed Economics but again that would necessarily suit everybody.

If you're mathematically inclined you could do Maths Studies. It's only two modules. A friend of mine did MS in First year with psychology. Anthropology and Philosophy are others you could consider, as they both complement Psychology.

He is, he's a great speaker so the lectures are always interesting. Plus he's funny too. I advise everyone to at least sit in on a few lectures to see what ye are missing!

yea, ive been to a few anthropology lectures, im probably gonna keep it as my third subject, along with greek and roman, and english.

I want to go to a few philosophy lectures too though before deciding, i heard they were good. The lecturer looks like peter jackson.

It's probably a bit late by now but I did English, Anthro, and Greek and Roman in first year and Larry is probably the only decent lecturer in the dept! They wheel him out for the first 6 weeks in 1st year, then it gets serious. And those 9am tuesdays were a bastard!
