being a Dub there's not much to cheer about when the Hurling championship comes round but i find myself more and more cheering for Waterford, probably because i spent some of the happiest times of my youth in an rinn and was there for their first munster title in god knows how long

    what about everybody else?

Clare. There is something special about them ;) However I would like to see Waterford do it, they have been there or there abouts for too long

I'm a Dub but given the lack of success in hurling Galway would be my choice in the latter stages (both my parents are from Galway). Mind you now that I think about it haven't Dublin won more hurling All-Irelands than Galway?

After that pretty much any other county apart from the 'established' teams, Cork, Kilkenny, Tipperary, et al.

Yeah, Dublin have 6 while Galway have only four.

Tipperary and Cork as my mother is from Cork and my cousins live in Tipp.

Galway, being a Westmeath man living in Roscommon (1 Christy Ring cup between us), I think a lot of Rossies follow Galway (could be wrong here) but hate them in the Football.

Cork - went to college down there, work there for a few years, still have a lot of mates down there plus i visit cork fairly regurlarly.

Anyone bar Cork, Kilkenny and Tipperary, given the amount of All-Irelands they have. Cork have 30, Kilkenny have 29 and Tipperary have 25. The next nearest is Limerick with 7, followed by Dublin and Wexford both on 6. Offaly's win in 1998 was the last one won by a team outside the big 3.

i'd support anyone but Cork or Kilkenny to be honest. Tipp are my 3rd least favourite team

Offaly's traditional style of ground hurling appeals to my own beliefs in the way the game should be played - simple and direct

Waterford, I'm not too sure why. I'm not one to go for one of the favourites anyway...

    Galway, being the neighbouring county.

once the dublin team are out, then i go for the underdog almost every time, nothing against cork and kilkenny but i'd love to see waterford lift liam, or galway-limerick-clare-wexford-offaly ... you get the picture

Kildare of course. Why would I support another county?

Honestly though, I couldn't really care who wins. I only watch the games for entertainment. A good game is all I am after. Don't get too much of them around my part. Hate seing the same teams winning over and over again as it does the game no good.

I like to see Kilkenny win it as I I always liked there style and they are similar to Kerry. I was delighted to see them win it and I always back whoever is playing Cork< nothing nicer than to see Cork beaten.

I used to back Clare in the Hurling but lost all respect for them when Ger Loughnane said "We will play it again" and left Offaly beat them. How stupid could a manager be, The referee's decision is final regardless of what sort of gaffe he made like that day with blowing the whistle early.

Kerry and Kilkenny = The Aristocrats of their games equally.

Well If I wasn't a Galway fan, I would probably be a big Kilkenny fan. For two reason. DJ Carey and Henry Shefflin.

    But I am so I'm not :D
