RTÉ Widescreen on Analogue

Yes it was for about 15 minutes or so, Anne Cassin looked very skinny! There was no DOG either.

Between 7 and 9 last night TV3 was also in widescreen on analogue terrestrial. "Emmerdale" and "Bones" and even the ad breaks were in 16:9. Any reasons for this? Curiously enough at the same time they were in 4:3 on the DTT platform.
