Anyone planning on a tourney in town tonight?

I'm thinking along the lines of the e20 student fest game in the jackpot.

Not sure I'm on for another night of poker, but if I do, it will be the €50 DC crapshoot in the SE. On Tuesday I came 6th in the Jackpot, last night I came 4th in the SE, according to all laws of physics and mathematics that means that if I play tonight, I am surely going to finish 2nd or 1st.

fair play to you Paul...you nursed that short stack well....it was defo a tricky opening table that we were on and im still kind of upset that i wasnt moved as i was on the BB in the hand that you were moved early on and i assumed it should have been me going....definetly the toughest table ive ever played on.

Im 50/50 playing tonite but i need to extract revenge on a certain player who i know is going to be there tonight.

Dave Masters made his money back (+€10 or €20 with scalps I guess), don't think there were any other boardsters ITM last night.

Craziest final table ever, so many horrible outdraws throughout the night (Myles was the victim of the 1st big one, he raised preflop, Oberon called, both had big stacks. Flop was Q74 rainbow or something, raise, re-raise, all the money goes in, Myles has AQ, Oberon had 97 suited IIRC, runner runner flush, Myles was extremely sick), plus very tense atmosphere as Paddy Taxi and Oberon argued, argued and argued about etiquette, plays and more for most of the time both were involved. It was crazy enough that we had an audience of 5 or 6 for most of the time I was there!

I was shortstack most of the FT but pushed when I had to and only sucked out once: 6 left, folded to me on the button with 5.5xBB, pushed with T3s, called by the BB with 33, flop was JJ6 rainbow, I noted a 6 would also save me and bang, the dealer laid a 6 down on the turn and an lowly 8 on the river. As the real payouts (better than your money back plus change, anyhow) only started at 4th, it was sweet to survive that long.
Joe, Oberon and Kate were the final 3, Joe and Oberon had big stacks, Kate had more than enough to play with.
