Never played it myself, I'm a member of the lakes course. but they re-did the some of the holes recently. (6 I think). Let me know how you get on... thinking of joining next year :)

I played it last november(so not really answering your question i suppose..) for the first time in a few years. Two stand out holes for me were the 8th(I think) which is a beautiful, longish par3 over water and the 18th - nice par 4 with water and well placed bunkers guarding the green. It's quite short overall and not really difficult but I found it enjoyable to play. I was really impressed by the condition of the course given the time of year. The tees, fairways, greens and bunkers were all in great shape.
