Anyone heard anything about the proposed Thomas Covenant movies?

I saw a couple of years back that the rights had been bought by "Revelstone Entertainment" but I havent seen anything since.

Last I heard was from Donaldson's own site, where says in the news section:

t doesn't look good. So far, the project has been rejected by Fox, Sony, and Dreamworks. "Too dark." "Too much like LOTR." The prospective producers have decided to change their tactics. They are now hoping to get a reputable director "on board." If they succeed, this may increase the project's credibility.

I'll post more news when I have some.

This was sometime before May 2005, though.

You know, ive taken alot of crap from the makers of comic book movies, and ive never complained before..not once. Now i am pissed. Its turning into the silver age of comics again.

Maybe I'm missing something, but that description sounds like the traditional/original beginnings of ironman.

Why is it pissing you off that they're remaining faithful to the original, or am I missing something here?
