NTL & Chorus: UPC Ireland

Just noticed that NTL have changed their www.ntl.ie website to look more like chorus and UPC's other companies in europe www.chorus.ie

Does this mean that the EPG will change also?

I noticed some changes on some symbols on the EPG the other night and also some age certificates that I never seen/noticed before.

Anyone else see this ?

Related to the EPG, has there been a software update over the last two weeks? I've been away and only got back last night. I found out that now when I enter the "tv guide", the preview window stays on the channels I was viewing, remember it used to tune to city channel before! Anyone notice this or see any other updates?

No City Channel Only comes up for me. I also have no TV Guide and the Browse section only goes up to the next programme and not the full day.

Some of the ICONs have changes and they now have certificates which i didn't notice before.

Yes - I noticed BBC News 24 had an 18 certificate last night!

At least the new NTL site actually WORKS in Opera, unlike the Chorus one - I press the buttons but nothing happens!

there was an update done a couple of days ago. digital was off from about 1am until the morning.
One thing i noticed is that it now says "Channel Off Air" instead of "Intermission".
they still haven't fixed ABC1 (i've ranted elsewhere about that!), and the guide isn't working properly now at all.

Any one working for NTL/UPC got a changelog or something, or any concrete info on when the EPG is getting a proper overhaul?

I have noticed that are "more" channels
On the help screen, number 8, last week read 13 - 183

It now reads 13 - 187

I think they have added more pay per view

Yes mine displays "Channel Off Air", the channel within the preview window and the 187 channels. Can't find those new channels though

I get whatever channel I was on when I open this.

Also I get about 2 days of programmes when I browse but have to admit I rarely use it but after seeing the changes I was messing around and notice I could go 2 days forward with the EPG.

there is only 1 Premiership PPV channel and ntl had this already

I only get that bloody City Channel when i hit the guide. i'll double check tonight when i get home from work, hopefully i get the channel i was viewing, as it used to wreck my head that the city channel was on there the whole time!

I also had to get a new Pace unit last week as the other one died and turned into a traffic light (green red and orange flashing leds) !!!

Not sure if the new box would have anything to do with it.
