FTA on communal dish?

Hi

I'm soon to be moving into my apartment and while doing the snag I noticed there is two satelite points in the living room. I looked up at the roof and there is a communal satelite dish. Can I hook up a fta box and receive fta TV or would the builder have some kind of block until you sign up to sky?

If the dish is aligned to astra 2 you should get bbc itv etc but obviously that depends on what work was carried out

You may have to pay a fee to get the point connected.

Talk to the management company. A Sky subscription would be optional.
