Compensation for being bumped off flight 4 days before the flight

I booked a last minute package deal to Salou in Spain. Flight was from Cork on the 29th Aug. I had received email confirmation of the booking and my "e-ticket".
About a week after I booked (4 days before departure), I got a call and he said "due to operational difficulties" the seats aren't available and instead they booked me on a flight from Shannon a day later than I was supposed to depart. This meant I incurred petrol and long-term parking costs which I otherwise wouldn't have had.

Looking at the new EU rules for airline compensation, I'm not sure if I'm eligable. It covers package deals and charter flights, but the only thing is that I was bumped off 4 days before the flight and not "when I presented myself at checkin" as is mentioned in the above link.

Does anyone know if I'm entitled to anything?
    Thanks!

I would suggest calling your travel agent and see what they say.
