Which LNB Should I buy?

I have the standard Dish and LNB for a Sky Basic package but i am doing a self install for HD on the weekend. I have already cabled my house so that all i need to do is plug them into a new LNB.

Can anyone point me in the direction of the LNB i should purchase? I was planning on getting a quad LNB to give me option for future expansion.

Are all Quad LNB's compatible with the standard Sky mounting bracket?

    Cheers for any info.

You need a quad LNB with a specific fitting for a SKY dish. An LNB with a standard 40mm collar won't fit. Have a look at the list of satellite dealers in the sticky and search for quad LNB - they are available for less than 40 euro plus postage.

Though there is an adaptor for 40mm. My Sky Installed Quad migrated to an ordinary dish as it was a 40mm with adaptor.

There is also an Octo, but in short supply!.

You can easily pay 70 Euro. 40 Euro is a good price for Sky Quad.
