p.a. speaker adaptors?

i've got two smallish p.a. speakers which have this kind of cable connection: does anyone know of any way i can connect these speakers to a p.a/amp which has regular everyday jack outputs that you find on guitars, mixers etc any help would be greatly appreciated.

Aye, speakon connectors, pretty much industry standard now. You can get 1/4" jack to speakon cables or just buy a cable with one type of connector and solder the other connector on the other end. They use the same cable as a 1/4" jack speaker cable.

Maplin do them. I can't remember how much they cost. Twice as much as Thomann probably.
